Position Description:

Our client, a concessionaire of greenfield infrastructure around the globe, has asked us to participate in a search for a Traffic and Revenue Analyst.  This individual will be responsible for developing Traffic and Revenue projections required in each stage of the business development effort executed by the concessionaire and its partners.  The projects are roadway facilities, often with multi-modal considerations, to be delivered in the PPP model which involves tolls.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analysis of the Requests for Proposals (RFP), including Instructions to Proposers, Concession Agreements or Conceptual Development Agreements, Technical Specifications, etc.
  • Preparation of comments and questions for the client (generally a DOT) related to the RFP
  • As part of a team, define the goals and scope of the Traffic and Revenue (T&R) Studies to be developed and identify the necessary inputs for the financial model
  • Preparation of Request for Proposals to outside T&R Advisors
  • Selection of T&R Advisors
  • Participate in the preparation of the Agreements to be signed with the Advisors
  • Define the guidelines to be followed in the studies
  • Monitoring of the Advisors Works
  • Contribute to decisions on key parameters
  • Coordination of T&R Studies with other groups in the team such as Design and Construction. Operations and Maintenance, and with the financial team
  • Meeting with DOTs to understand their needs and present the progress, results and consequences of the studies
  • Interaction with the different stakeholders and partners
  • Interaction with Lenders' Traffic Advisors
  • Assist in developing T&R Studies Presentations to the potential lenders

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES THAT WILL BE EVALUATED POSITIVELY:

  • Broad knowledge in the Traffic & Revenue and Transportation Planning field
  • Ability to interact with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to direct hired engineering companies' work
  • Public presentation skills

PREFERRED CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Engineering or Planning Degree, or the equivalent
  • Additional training in T&R and Transportation Planning related subjects
  • More than 3+ years experience in the development of T&R Studies
  • Experience in relations with clients and advisors
